Decision
I’ve decided to hold off on the Wii-ing until I beat FF12.

To Wii or not to Wii…
So I’m sitting on my chair watching Prison Break and sadly I think it’s one of the few things I have done since Friday night besides playing Final Fantasy 12. The game is crack. I don’t think I’ve ever been this addicted to a game though World of Warcraft came close. I’m about 30 hours through it now and almost everything about the game is perfect. My only complaints about it are the random chests that I’m not supposed to get to get the ultimate weapons easily (which I found out about after the fact), not being able to copy gambits from one character to another, and the fact that it’s on the PS2 which means no HD output.
I went down to DC this past Saturday night to catch the Fray at DAR with Megan. I found a new band to like, The Feeling, from the opening act and the Fray was great live. The only downside of the show came from how popular they had become and the inevitable army of 16 year old girls that attend concerts of popular bands. There were times where they drowned out the band and my patience was sorely tested but thankfully I was able to make it out of the show without doing more than roll my eyes at them.
Nick and Tara got married a week and a half ago. I had wanted to make an announcement earlier but it was one of those things that took me slightly longer to digest. It was the first wedding involving a friend from high school and with a friend whose family I had known growing up. Combine that with Nick’s cousins that I haven’t seen in 9 years and (they’re all grown up now) and the fact that every girl I thought I was interested in was an 18 year old freshmen in college has made me feel incredibly incredibly old. Still the wedding was beautiful, the reception was amazing, and the after party helped me develop one of the biggest hangovers I’ve ever had. Here’s to Nick and Tara getting married again next year and every year from now on.
My PS2 broke last night, again, except this time I have a Best Buy replacement plan (thanks to my parents) where I thought it would be simple to get a replacement. Unfortunately I had to jump through several hoops and now I’ll have to mail the unit to the replacement center before they can issue me store credit to get a new one. Of course with the new store credit I’m at a crossroad, do I save the credit and apply it towards a PS2 or do I wait at least a couple months to beat Shadow Hearts 2 play Final Fantasy 12, Valkyrie Profile 2, and Devil Summoner and just get a PS3. On the plus side I was able to pick up Fire Emblem and Battalion Wars for the GC for $15 each.
After Best Buy, I picked up my tux for Nick and Tara’s wedding this weekend.
